Shipwright Services

This includes all aspects of shipwright services, from annual maintenance and repairs, to major refits and rebuilds, during winter lay-up or afloat during the boating season.  Our approach is to adhere to time-honoured standards using traditional and modern materials and techniques. 

 

We also offer Mechanical, Varnishing & Painting and Project Management Services.

Examples of previous Shipwright works are:

• New build component fabrication using appropriate techniques such as stem bending, laminating and direct cutting and forming.  
   

• Cabin joinery repairs, upgrades and refreshes.
   

• Spar build and repairs.
   

• Oar fabrication and repair.
   

• Planking repairs in both carvel and clinker and caulking of seams.
   

• Fibreglass and gelcoat repairs.
